P.S I went and saw Bloodshot bill the other day(actually my band played the show he was headlining but whatever) and he was absolutely amazing and hilarious. Here’s a picture from the show I saw him at:

Abdominal – Escape from the Pigeon Hole
Today’s artist is an amazing hip-hop mc named Abdominal. He’s straight outta Toronto and he’s just absolutely amazing. Whether he’s rapping about Mcdonalds Big Macs, riding his bike, or his pet peeves I just love every minute of it. I could go on about this guy for a while since I’ve been addicted to his tracks for the past month but I’ll just get right to the goods.

I’m back!
So I thought I’d do a bit of a mega-post since I haven’t posted anything in a while so here it goes:
Spirit of Versailles – Discography

An Awesome screamo band from South Dakota with melodic guitar riffs, fast drumming and over the top chaotic vocals.

Hour of the star – Hour of the star 7″

Amazing 90s emo(tive) hardcore.

Red Sparowes – Every red heart shines towards the red sun

From their site:
“There just might be a certain warped truth to the phrase “guilt by
association.” As in the case of Red Sparowes, its formal associations
with such heavy, propulsive bands as Isis, Neurosis, Angel Hair and
Pleasure Forever would lead you to expect that the Los Angeles
quintet’s debut would be a masterfully crafted epic of primal urgency.
It is.
However, Red Sparowes is epic without bombast, heavy without a single
barre-chord riff and eviscerating without any clearly audible vocals.
The chiming, spindly layers of effect-laden guitars and the swinging,
entrancing drums on its Neurot Recordings debut At the Soundless Dawn
create textures reminiscent of Goblin, Tones on Tail, Godspeed You
Black Emperor and early Sonic Youth. Its attack is syrupy and
serpentine; subtle but frighteningly deliberate.”
